Shri Palanpuri Sthanakvasi Jain Association is the organisation of the registered memebrs of the Palanpuri Sthanakvasi Jain Mahajan.
The main objectives of the Association ( Mahajan) is as follows:
1) To look after the larger interests of the samaj ( community) in general.
2) To look after the immovable properties of the mahajan, being trustees of the trusts that are there and for those that will be there in future,for its welfare, repairs, renovations, modernisations, sale,purchases of the related materials, hiring of staff, hiring of consultants/ engineers/ lawyers/ Vet doctors/CAs etc., appointments of trustees as per the schedules or conditions prevailing or terms assigned. Increasing the stock of cattle, its feed, fodder, water, shelter, medicines, Dairy,etc as per the demand of the situations of given time and approved by the Mahajan/ Association.
3) There will be all around activities for the benefit of the majority of the members in general. It may be anything from religion, or religious activities or cultural promotional matters. There will be activity around Fine Arts subjects like Music, dance, singing, painting, drawing, writing, cookery, etc also. There will be common or joint meals or get togethers, and programmes of general interests like picnic, shows, sports, meets, debates, or demos, would be tried as time and situations allows, to promote the brotherhood and increase networking, bringing all members closer.
4) It will take collection drives to collect funds if there are projects for the benefits of the members, and if the general body passes the proposals, whenever there is one. The Mahajan / Association will do & try all possibilities to increase values for the members of the Mahajan/ Association.
5) The committee members are a team of dedicated & honarary members and will try everything possible for the betterment of our community, samaj.
6) The daughters who have married out of the Palanpuri Sthanakvasi Jain community can and will remain a part of the Association.
